Protein Cake with Whey Protein Isolate
Description
This high-protein cake is soft, moist, and perfect for a healthy dessert or post-workout snack. Made with whey protein isolate, it’s low in sugar and packed with nutrients.
Ingredients
- 1 cup whey protein isolate (vanilla or chocolate)
- 1/2 cup oat flour (or blended oats)
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup milk (any type)
- 2–3 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a small cake pan.
- In a bowl, mix whey protein, oat flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs, yogurt, milk, honey, and vanilla extract.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let it cool before slicing and serving.
